What We e-Learners Think, Say and Do Really Does Make a Difference!

Focus of Workshop:
This workshop focussed on ‘student voice’ and e-learners in a digital thinking and learning environment. Alongside teacher-facilitator Whaea Jeanette, 4 e-Learners discussed what a 2 day digital classroom looks like, feels like and sounds like for them. They have reported on improving student outcomes from an e-Learners perspective and how easy it is to incorporate just a few simple, yet practical thinking tools and strategies into the classroom programme.

Outcome for those attending:
Teachers attending have come away knowing what is necessary when thinking about setting up an e-Learners environment and how important it is to include students and ‘choice’ in the classroom planning and decision-making process.

Tena koutou katoa. It's 2010 and I am really fortunate to be working with a delightful bunch of Y7-Y8 e-Learners for 2 days each week. Students use a number of thinking tools and strategies and a comprehensive range of web2 tools to visually express and share their thinking and learning journeys.
